About the Role
As a Transport Co-Ordinator, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring seamless coordination between customers and subcontractors. Your focus on delivering exceptional customer service and your ability to manage processes from start to finish will make you an integral part of our success.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Organization of transport options (trucks and trailers); being linking pin between all Westdijk offices in UK and abroad
• Liaising with subcontractors to find the best solutions at competitive prices.
• Processing orders and inputting them into our system.
• Coordinating with subcontractors to ensure orders are executed efficiently.
• Monitoring the entire order lifecycle and keeping customers informed at every stage.
• Addressing any issues or complaints with professionalism and care.
• Performing general administrative tasks and supporting the Managing Director as needed.

 

What We’re Looking For
We are searching for an individual who is driven, adaptable, and ready to make an impact. The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the UK/European freight forwarding sector.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and procedures.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
• A proactive mindset, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
