Westdijk was founded in the early 1970s by the three Westdijk brothers: Teun, Tom and Nico. They started by renting out hydraulic cranes, tippers, and low-loaders, mainly operating in the vicinity of the Groene Hart, in The Netherlands.

In 2005 Westdijk Sweden was formed, opening the Scandinavian market between Europe. Followed later, in 2016 Westdijk UK. Both Sweden and the UK have offices in prime locations to major ports. Opening of these offices has significantly improved the scope to provide unique transport solutions to our customers.

Westdijk Group today has an impressive, modern fleet of approximately 75 trucks, 150 trailers and 20 cranes. We currently employ approximately 100 skilled personnel, between our group companies in The Netherlands, Sweden, UK, and Poland.
